98 gt keeps cranking even after the key is out. HELP!!!!

it's the starter.

I have seen this happen to several modulars. most recently a 04 explorer , also happened to my service managers old 04 cobra..

replaced starter and all is well now. i found a 04 cobra converted to solid rear axle and a 2.3 liter whipple 60 lb injectors sct excal 2 tuner and dyno tuned by a place in memphis not sure of the name and it has many more mods including nitrous but has never been sprayed. she's asking 26000 tell me what yall think
