My 98 mustang GT won't catch first gear, I have too rev it up for it too begin moving. I took it too a shop and they told me it would be between $1200-$2000 to repair one part that's broken. I assumed buying a new transmission and replacing it would be a cheaper and better for the long run.
Could a regular GT 4.6L motor run on a Cobra transmission? Would this make a noticeable difference? And It is an automatic, would it be difficult too install a manual transmission? Any advice, answers, or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.
