I am eager to do a cobra heads/intake swap very soon on my 98GT and I was curious to what the compression ratio would be around. Also if I were to put headers, X-pipe, catpipe, CAI w/ the cobra heads, how much power could I make.

Also what is everything I need for swap besides complete heads/intake pulleys, and timing cover?

Thanks in advance, James

i admire your wanting to do this but........you can just as easily buy a cobra motor, harness and ecu for a little more and be set.....ive seen used 99 cobra motors for 2800.00

is it the HP your looking for? or is it that you want a 4 cam? if its HP you want go for ported SOHC heads and VT stage 2 cams........would cost less and be ALOT easier....

heads

i checked it out the 96-98gt heads were 49.77 cc,and the 96-98 cobra's were 47cc, but it would actually be best to just get the whole cobra motor with wiring and all,

I thought cobra heads were 52 cc?

I still would really like to know what the compression would be, I plan on running this for while until I get forged bottom end then T trim.
