99-04 5spd vs auto differences for a turbo install

hi,
I have a 1999 gt automatic and trying to figure out the differences between the automatic and 5spd cars. My coworker is selling his 2003 5spd gt and offered me his single turbo kit (custom made at some shop), but I am not sure if it will bolt up to my automatic gt without any issues. Is there any huge differences between the 2 drivetrains? A little fabrication to make it work is not a big deal
thanks

There shouldn't be anything too major to make it work on your auto. There are transmission cooling lines that could be in the way, depending on where they routed the intake/exhaust piping. I think the auto is slightly bulkier, so there may not be as much exhaust clearance underneath the car. Otherwise, shouldn't be anything else that would be different on your car to complicate installation.

The 4R is bigger, so if it uses the stock manifolds and loops under the tranny or around it w/ a tubular k member then it might be too tight as it was contoured to the manual. If he has turbo headers only real task will be checking the down pipe clearance. Besides that you should get a tranny cooler to cope with the new load
