I know this has been asked before, but damn try finding it with the search function

Anyway, what needs to be done for a 99-04 aftermarket cat-back to fit a 98GT? Are the exhaust hangar locations different or is it something else? Can a competent exhaust shop easily make it work?

Thanks, I'll keep searching anyway.

There is no difference between '98 and 99+ cat-backs except you will have the extra hanger coming off the muffler closest to the wheel, which is no big deal, you don't need it. Oh one thing about puting a 99+ on a 98...there is a shorter difference b/t the tailpipe hanger and the tailpipe on 99+ than the 98's, so on your 98, the tip will be super close, if not actually toughting, the bumper. But that can be fixed by bending the hanger a little. Other than that, it should slide right on.
