Roush 99-04 Saleen Carbon Fiber hood

My OEM hood is cracking by the latch, so I'm interested in a 99-04 Saleen style Carbon Fiber hood. I saw one once, very nice looking, anyone know where or who makes it??

You can either go with a original Saleen or a excellent copy from Mustang Parts Specialties or find a Cervinis. MPS is probably the best for the money!

Is that real carbon fiber or just Saleen's standard "composite" hood?

A real ALL carbon fiber Saleen hood is very rare for the 99-04's. I have only seen a few. Most people say they have the carbon fiber hood and it is the composite hood which is a mixture of glass. Careful of ALL fiberglass 99-04 Saleen knock off hoods. Most rarely fit without work.

How much? The reason I thought about a clear coated carbon Fiber was that I wouldnt have to paint it. But if the price is right...

I saw one one ebay about a year ago, Im kicking myself for not buying it then. The auction ended with no bidders. But it was 100% carbon fiber saleen style hood. It looked real good, but now I cant find one anywhere.

Stay away from the ebay companies that sell the carbon fiber stuff. The majority of it is junk. If you can't find a real Saleen hood then try the ones I listed above. I can vouch for their quality. Do not buy a Harwood. They don't fit well at all. Whatever you do do not buy from Cincinatti Composites. You can see through their hoods and the fit is terrible. They have alot of their junk on ebay. It isn't always under their name either! If you have any questions you can forward the auction to me and I can give you an opinion or info on the quality of the hood.

I think these hood look great also i had one on my 02 GT it is called a mach II i belive. and the yellow one is a better look at it and on a saleen. that hood turned more heads then i could count.
