99 cobra hood?

Is the 99 cobra hood the same as the 2004 V6 hood? Or is it slightly different.

If I remember correctly, it is EXACTLY the same hood. There was a thread on this awhile back. Pissed off some Cobra owners.

Yep, the 03 and 04 V6 Mustangs came standard with the 99/01 Cobra hood. The V6 Mustangs could also "upgrade" to the GT hood if they got the Pony Package option.

The 03 and 04 GT Premium Mustangs could "upgrade" to the Cobra polished wheels.

It seems that Ford was cleaning up their basement of left over Cobra parts.

I feel bad for the bullit owners too.. Aren't the current premium Gt rims the same as the "bullit" rims for the special edition bullits?

Yes, all premium GT's for basically the whole Bullitt run came with the same Bullitt rim starting (I believe ... please correct me) with 2001 1/2 and ending with 2003 . Although I think that is now all over ... there are no longer GT's being made with the Bullitt rims.
