99 interceptor 4v into 99 gt

I've got a 4v interceptor motor with all all accssories and complete harness with 30k mi. Is it worth it to do the swap? Just like most of you I've put a lot of $$$ into my stang. I don't want to waste the money if its not worth the trouble.

What....pray tell is an Interceptor? If you're referring to a "Police Interceptor" engine from a Crown Vic, then you might be disappointed to know that it was a 2V engine, not a 4V.

The Marauder and Interceptor are 2 different vehicles with 2 different motors.

neither was the 03 cobra....that doesnt mean the 01 cobras were even close to the 03-04 in any way

If it came out of a 99 Crown Vic police car, its a 2v as stated.

Don't mean to break it to you that frankly, but someone screwed you on a deal if they told you a 4v came in a Crown Vic.

The engine from a Maurader and a '99 Police interceptor are two different animals.


The '99 motor is 2V and non-PI. You have a 215HP boat anchor that would actually be a step down from your '99 GT's PI 2V engine
