popped motor out of car tonight, tore pan off all rods,crank and piston skirts are cherry, took valve covers off all rockers cams ok, took intake off found valve guide inside intake port on cyl 6 broken off , has been bouncing up and down on valve stem and small shoulder broke off and is stuck in intake valve. noise apears to be coming from contact of piston to valve. i am going in early in morning and pulling head off, i pray piston is ok, but not holding my breath. atleast the motor apears to be repairable and not a total loss. i will update tomorow. later wally.
