I bought a taillight kit from American Muscle a couple months ago. I installed it and all was good. About a month later, though, the turn signal was blinking fast, signalling a burnt bulb. Lo and behold I look at the taillight and one of the bulbs had fallen out of the harness. I take it apart and the bulb refuses to stay in place - doesn't matter what I tried. So I called AM and had a replacement sent out. I installed the replacement and it was good for about a month again. A few weeks ago, it fell out AGAIN. So I took it apart and took pliers to the plastic pieces that hold the bulb in. That secured it for another week but today it fell out again and pliers only remedied the problem for a few minutes. I don't feel like I should get a third set because that's the definition of insanity. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I just super unlucky? What's going on?
