I swapped my 3.8 to a 347 roller, have c6 tranny in, stock rearend...
what driveshaft am I going to need and will my old one bolt right up? also the alternator is on bottom left now. so am I gonna have to run wires to alternator ?
I'm pretty sure you will have to measure for a driveshaft and have one cut for it.
The factory V6 reared is a non trac lok one wheel peeler that probably won't live long behind a 347 lol
The factory harness may reach,but if it comes up short, a few feet of wire and some weather packs are easily sourced.
Is the car still fuel injected? Standalone computer system?
If not,you could replace the factory harness with a painless kit and add in what you do,and don't need on the car...
