A Arm Question

Lower A Arm Question
Have a 94 GT
The Car is pretty much a drag car.. Car has Steeda 13 inch brakes.. Bogart made us 3 1/2 inch X 15 inch wheels for front runners.... Car looks terrible with wheels sticking out of the wheel wells.. ... I was talking to a Ford Tech, and he says that 82 or 83 mustang front A Arms are about 1.5 inches shorter than 94.... other than changing the tie rods he said they mount up fine.... Has anyone made this change??? or know any reason it wouldn't work???

Yup.. Sorry about my description above.. The Bogart wheels have a spacer welded on to fit over the brakes... I’m just a simple mechanic / fabricator working on my brothers Mustang. If it was mine I'd just go back to stock brakes and standard 15 inch Bogart 3 1/2 front runner wheel .. It's an 11 second car.. brakes shouldn't even be an issue.. Flamming River is putting together a package for us that includes a 2 inch shorter Lower A arm with a modified spring pod and a manual rack and tie rods...
I will say that after working all winter on this car I went out and bought a 2001 GT to see how much money I can spent to make a 4.6 run 11s also.. I'm also looking for a Skilled ,4.6 Mustang Mentor, in my area to bounce stuff off of before making costly mistakes..

yup.. If we change a-arms ... and at some point he wants to take the car on the street for a cruze, the stock wheels wont fit !!!!
