'92 GT, 5.0 all stock. Factory installed a/c with Nippon Denso compressor.

A/C inoperative. Jumpered low pressure switch, clutch does not engage. Have +12v at the BK/Y wire at the clutch. Checked ground (BK at the clutch)-and no ground. Where does it ground to? I followed the A/C clutch harness back as far as I could, and the BK wire disappears into the harness underneath the starter solenoid. At the 2 pin connector, BK/Y remains-but BK from the compressor turns into what appears to be a BK/W wire which , If I back probe the BK wire at the clutch and run a jumper to the negative (-) battery terminal, the clutch will come on. I have a bad ground, but I'm not sure where the other end of the BK wire goes so that I can investigate?

There is a short harness that connects directly to the compressor that contains the surge damper diode and the ground wire. Peel the plastic loom off and see if the jumper wire is broken off under the loom.
