i have a 2003 mustang gt. the clutch on my a/c compressor is going out so i am putting a bypass pulley in the meantime. i need help as to the steps i would have to take to take off the compressor and install the bypass.

also next summer i am playing on swapping my 4.6 for a cobra engine. if possible i would also like advise on where i can get a good crate engine and how to install it in my gt.

No need to put a bypass pulley on. Just unplug the electrical connection on the compressor. That will ensure the clutch doesn't try to engage, no matter what the controls are set to. There won't be any power gain putting a bypass on either.

A 'cobra' engine is most likely more trouble than it is worth. You will most likely need the correct wiring harness and computer to make everything work correctly and you are looking at a LOT of work.
