a/c elimination kits

I just purchased a A/C elimination kit Ford Motorsport part # FMM8511A50. The kit moves the power steering up to where the A/C compressor used to be. I need to know the part # for the new serpentine belt I have to by. Someone said Goodyear # 4060845. Are the last three digits the length? I heard the belt must be 1/2 inches shorter. Or, do I buy the stock belt for a 1990 mustang w/o A/C? One more question: Do I have to make the power steering hoses longer?

Yes buy the stock belt w/o factory ac. And no for the 2nd question.

if you want to skip the smog pump along with the A/c delete kit you can use a 73.5"............Just did it last week and it worked great.

Yes, you can bypass the smog pump easily as well, however you must change the way you route the belt. There used to be a diagram around here showing how
