Guys, pulled a little too hard on the Freon line and it broke on the bottom side of the tube at the receiver. Do you know if that line is copper or aluminum?
How fo I fix it?
Since the line broke the system was more than likely blown-down (ie.. emptied). I wouldn't attempt to "fix" it, purchase a new hose & replace the receiver. It absorbs moisture, etc. The receiver is referred to "vacuum cleaner" of the a/c system.
