For a couple of years my engine would run hot when the A/C was on....did not matter whether normal or max....the temp gauge would creep to hot and sometimes I would have to turn off the A/C to keep it from going red. As soon as I turn off the A/C, the temp would go back down to normal. I read online here and found a few posts about the same thing...I changed the thermostat, fluid change.....did not replace the pump.....I just dealt with it.

A few weeks ago when my fan motor went out, I replaced it with a new one for $60. Now.....I can run the A/C all day and the temp never goes higher than slightly past the middle. As best I could tell, the old fan was still testing high and low speeds, but must have been going out for a while until it finally puked.
