Bought the car a couple weeks ago, decided to charge the ac today. Recovered it, pulled a vaccum, only recovered .50lb so I put another 1.50lb in it. Compressor spins freely by hand. Well just to get to the point, AC is charged, and not working. Tried jumping the connector at the low pressure switch, and that didnt't fix it, well come to find out I check the power at the compressor and there is not power to the compressor, I dont have access to Alldata anymore seeing as I had a work related injury so I can't pull up any diagrams or anything. Just wondering if you any of you guys have had this problem occur with your SN95, this is the first one I have owned, used to foxbodies and f-body cars. But anyways any opinions or ideas would help.

Thanks

Do you have power egressing the LPCS? If so but it doesnt make it to the AC coil, check the output voltage at the WOT Relay (in the CCRM). There's a decent chance that's where the issue lies if the system is up to pressure, etc.

(BTW, did you jump the LPCS in order to charge the system? You should have had to. If so, was the clutch engaging?).

Good luck.

Voltage come from fuse 5(15 amp) IP fuse box thru ac controls to low pressure cycling switch on P wire thru switch on DB/Y wire,if that switch is ok, then it goes to the high pressure switch and comes out on the DG/O wire to CCRM pin 21 ( if pressures are to high on high pressure switch PCM will ground the PK/LB to the BLK to disable this. It then leaves CCRM on the BK/Y wire (pin 23) of CCRM and goes to AC clutch, ground side of AC coil goes back to CCRM on BLK wire to pin 16.

I will try to take what was said and work through the wiring to see what the situation at hand is, the clutch is not engaging at all, spins freely by hand. Doesn't have power to regardless, even if I jumper it, still not power to compressor. I have traced the wires back to a plug in right under the fuse box in the engine bay and the other end of the connector coming to the compressor doesn't have power on it either.

Chuck and I both referenced it. It's in the CCRM.

A WOT relay on the passenger shock tower area is true.......... For a fox III.

See Chuck's informative post to diagnose the WOT relay. He tells you which are the in and out terminals for power through the WOT relay.
After you see that (it's an easy place to start), you know which direction to go to find a fix.

Good luck.

In order to acces the WOT relay do I have to take the black box apart? No power a pin 21 on the connector.

Shouldn't I have voltage at the high pressure switch connector? Cause there is no power coming into the connector.

yes it should be coming from the low pressure cycling switch on the DB/Y wire then leaving on the DG/O

I have no voltage at the high pressure switch.... I assume is a problem between the low pressure switch and the high pressure switch, reckon it some bad wiring...could it be anything else?

power at the connector that plugs into the lower pressure switch, no power at the connector to the high pressure switch.....like I mentioned Im not getting any power to the CCRM for the AC circuit, so for some odd reason Im not getting power to there

Where are you at in NC, I am myself, I am fair from an AC repair, Im only good with building a motor, or turn wrenches, not to much of an electircal man. What do you mean by overlay? I dont want to screw nothing up, haha.

ok so if it works after that, that means I have a wiring problem somewhere in between those two, correct?
