A/C quit working! (did search)

Drove car today and a/c was fine. Tonight it won't work. The compressor isin't turning on. I checked the fuse and its fine. I checked power at the clutch with a test light and got nothing. Then i checked for power at the low pressure switch and had none there either. What to check next?


Oh and this is a 91 lx.

Your not getting power to the low switch, or the your not getting power from the low switch. How about the high side? Are you getting power to the fuse,relays, ect?

I'm not getting power to the lps on the evaporator. The fuse is good. And i think power goes through the lps before it gets to the wot relay so that wouldn't be the problem.

There is also a high pressure side switch that shuts off the compressor when it gets too high. Chase the wire and see where it goes.

No high pressure switch on Mustangs made before 94.

Found the problem! It was the switch on the dash. Thanks again for the help.
