a/c removed kinda

i removed the pully thingy and that canister. now where the canister is there is a thing thats comes out of the fire wall and another one below it that is attatched to like a hose that goes to the radiator thing. does anyone know how tho get those things in the fire wall? if you have pics please post. and then i would like to see pics of how you re mounted the power steering. o and sorry for usingthingy alot cuz i dont know what they are.

You just need the special disconnect tools to unlock the spring clamps that hold all that stuff together. You can get them for cheap at the parts store. Just get a power steering pump relocation kit. It brings the pump up to where the ac compressor was. You will need to change your belt though.

what is the point of relocating the PS to the AC spot anyway??

If you didnt bring the pump up there then the tensioner wouldnt work.

my friends dad has an 86 gt and he just used one of the brackets that held the ac compressor on to holdthe p/s pump up there.

Whatever works. I have always just used the kit. But as long as you get the right angle for the tensioner to work with the belt I dont see why it wouldnt work.

you dont know how the stock one is hooked up??

I know how the stock one is hooked up but you need the pully from the ac compressor to get the belt to work. That is the whole idea of moving the pump up to where the compessor is. I'm sure you can fab something together to get it to work but the easiest way is with the kit.
