Hi Guys,

When I turn on my A/C, there is a strong smell but I cannot pinpoint where it is coming from. If I have the A/C on normal, I can smell it in the cabin, but if it is on MAX, then you cannot smell it in the cabin.

I don't think there is a freon leak because my A/C is running strong and doesn't seem to be getting warmer...also, I cannot see a leak as well.

Any ideas?

Kyle

Ford cars tend to have this problem. Happens when moisture collects on the evaporator in the vent system, especially after using the A/C. This website for Ford F150 users has several tips to help kill the smell.
