My girlfriend is buying a 93 GT. We noticed that the A/C temp control knob doesn't want to stay on cold. It can be forced all the way counter-clockwise, but it won't stay there. The system seems like it wants to blow cold but it won't becuase the knob won't go all the way cold but it will blow kinda cool consistently.
Has anyone had this problem? Could it be a vacuum problem? When we pick it up, where should I look for vacuum line problems?
If I take out the A/C control panel, should the knob turn just fine if it isn't the control itself messed up?
Do the fox a/c controls click like sorta when you turn them like the sn-95's? When I turn the one on the 93, it's just smooth.
One last thing, the heater core in this car has been replaced in the past year, so I was wondering if it might have something to do with it.
