I drove home the other night and turned my A/C on to Normal A/C. I left it like that overnight, got in the next morning, cranked the car up, and now the A/C only blows through the defrost vents. :bang: WTF?! Is there something wrong with my vacuum system that is not allowing the rest of the vents to open? I try it on all different settings, it only blows through the defrost vents. Any ideas? Help!!

Im not familiar with Ford's HVAC system, but the way you describe it seems like it is an underhood vacuum source problem. The vacuum is used to operate the mode doors on the heater core/evaporator case assembly. When vacuum is lost to the HVAC system, it goes automatically into defrost as a failsafe in case the windows are iced/fogged. Check underhood and look for any disconnected vacuum lines.

Yet another a/c only coming from the deforst vents question. :D
Check the small vacum line you see here. The reason it only goes through defrost vents is that is the default setting from Ford. Good luck.

The small vacum line that goes across the firewall is the one you should inspect.
