My doors aren't that bad, but they have a few dents. I wonder if new skins wouldn't be a bad idea. It would give me the chance to get all the junk out of them that's stuck in there.Easiest way to get the skin off is to grind the outer edge ,it will let you know when you grind enough by popping open ,there is a couple of spot welds inside below the wind wing that has to be drilled and the skin will fall offit may not look like it but the inner shell is in very good shape ,i will sand blast it in the morning and get it in primer before the new skin comes in.
Depends on just how bad they are ,if nothing major i would use them . Sheet metal is very hard to get right now and it may get worse . I have a 65 fast back with the front end wiped off and i cant get new metal ,i would use a clip from a coupe if i could find a decent oneMy doors aren't that bad, but they have a few dents. It looks pretty solid ,just a couple of bad places in the floor pans ,the trunk area is excellent. I get that outer sheet metal off ,blasted and primer it will look greatLooking good
I believe your good at different bolt sizes for sure , but I meant the conversion to FB.Do you mean what size is the bolt? I am pretty good at it until it goes metric
