A Front End Issue?

Greetings,
I own a '00 GT 'Vert.
A few months ago, I noticed that the wheeel was shaking a bit when I was driving on the freeway. I thought this might be caused by my tires, which needed replacing, but I got one more tire rotation out of them.
But that did not fix the shaking problem. Then I thought it might have been a balance problem with the tires, so I had them balanced.
The problem was STILL there, so I had the wheels aligned!
And the problem was STILL there, and by this time getting worse.
So, at that point I got new tires with the same exact specs as my older tires.
But the problem still haunts me to this day!
Whenever I am driving slow, like backing up or pulling slowly out of a parking space, the tires feel as if they are flat! (But they are not) It really feels like I am running over railroad tracks.
The tire inflation is correct. I had them re-balanced and realigned when I bought new tires.
What could be causing this? BTW, this does not happen just when I brake.
My 'Stang has 62k miles on it.
The front end has had no damage whatsoever.

Any ideas?

There's several things it could be. You could have a bent wheel, the tires could be out or round, slipped belt, broken belt, buldge in sidewall of tire. Did the place that aligned your vehicle take the time to shake down the front end to see if anything is bent, broken, loose? If you have a tie rod end, balljoint or anything else in your steering with more then an 1/8" of movement then you might have a problem coming from there.

look at the hub and see if the bearings need to be changed you may have to change the spindle...get he front end off the ground and try to turn the wheel and see if there is any side to side play

All the tire and wheel issues would have come to light with the balancing he had done...(unless you notice about 2 lbs of weight on one side of the rim...then, we may have a problem...! )
My vote if for ties rod ends, ball joints...the 2nd part of Disturbed's answer)
