The day has come where you need a lift kit to upsize your wheels!

Actually it appears they lowered it 4 inches. And installed sport anit-sway bars. For faster cornering. Ok wait. Who the hell thought to make "sport" anti-sway bars for a hummer?

Let me claer one thing up, the H2 is not a hummer, it's a truck, it rides on a frame, and has a liveaxle rear end and conventionaly mounted brakes...Screw it, it's a suburban...The REAL hmmwv's are unit-bodies, full independant susp. And inboard mounted calipers... PLUS they used to cost 60k to buy, till the junk ass h-2's came out them GM bought the H-1 and doubled the price.

You mean a kick in the balls to Gulf Oil company?
I wouldn't think so.. it's free advertising.

The only reason the GT40 and now the GT were painted that way was because Gulf Oil sponsored some GT40's in Le Mans racing in the '60's.

They've also sponsored Porsches, Audis, and Mclarens in the same color scheme, although I think the Mclarens had a darker blue.

And yes, the Hummer GT looks like crap.

It would need every bit of that 556hp to turn those massive wheels, and I can not even imagine what a set of tires would run for that thing. Your right it's not really a Hummer as the only thing it shares with a Hummer is it's name as it's literaly a Surburban with a H2 body.

Is it a suburban? I thought I read they were trailblazers.
