Did you guys gear a lot of gear noise in Neutral when you got the fix done? When I push in the clutch pedal it goes away... I know you are supposed to have a bit of gear noise in Neutral but this is so loud you can hear it standing outside the car.

yes I did . The dealer replaced the throwout bearing and I still have the same noise. I can hear a whine in neutral when I rev the motor but it goes away when I push the clutch to the floor. Im still driving with it like that. Now I know I am not the only one. Im going to keep driving and see if it gets worse. I can hear it also when I downshift sometimes. Sounds like it could be the input shaft in the trany, not sure though Im not a mechanic. My car has a whopping 5200 miles on it! good luck . Let me know if this sounds like what you are experiencing.

Also do you have any mods? Gears or shifter....... ??

Mine started making a similar sound yesterday and i do not have the TSB done. its like a low buzz sound when in nuetral with the clutch out. Im 99% sure i can hear some kind of similar new noise when im driving too. I even pulled the shifter boot off and listened to it idle in nuetral and the sound seems like its coming from under and slightly forward of the box the shift mounts to, but thats about the limit of my diagnostic expertise. I was afraid it was a sign my trany was gonna splode.

Course if i did then i could buy a new one since the car is out of warranty and the TSB was gonna cost nearly as much.
