I was gonna say that at least sheet metal screws are easy to remove. Enjoy.

It looks like we are going to have to replace both trunk floors ,just to much rust to try to patch .
I got the rear door posts trimmed ,going to pick up some sand a blast the areas and primer before any new metal goes on . I still have to finnish trimming the rest of the tail panel but i will have that done today

Just so you don't have to go back and do it later...

This would be a good time to start mocking up the oil slick and smoke screen mods

Time to put the wheel tubs together ,i dont see how anyone can say Dynacorn parts dont fit together ,if you do it right they just fall together . Use the alignment holes and its easy .

Pop and spatter was in a good mood and did some decent plug welds today ,you know you have a good weld when you see the blister on the back side ,that is weld penetration

Seems like every time i try to get started something happens around here ,big tree in the pasture decided it didnt want to live anymore and fell over ,its about 60 feet tall and took out the fence . Spent a few days cutting it up and fixing the chain link fence .

Now i am ready to put in the tail panel as it sets the height for the quarters . Naturally my hole punch sprung a leaky seal so i bought a new one this morning ,if you dont have one of these you need one ,it beats the heck out of drilling those plug weld holes.

The tail panel is in and so are the inner bumper brackets . A new spool of wire and it welding pretty good but i need to turn the speed down a bit for some reason .
Tomorrow i am going to weld in the quarter ends under the end caps but i have to make sure the end of the quarter matches up to the end cap ,we want a good fit !

Where did you purchase your hole punch and what size holes does it make?
I'm looking for a pinch weld attachment for our old Lenco Panelspotter. Last time that I located one it was over $600-.

It has 2 hand held electrodes and one has a switch. You press down in two prepped spot and hit the switch. It makes 2 spot welds at once from just one side.
The dial on the front is to set the duration of the weld. You set it by test welding with metals of the same gauge.

This is why you fit the end caps first ,the out side fits great but the top has to be pulled down
