Here are some more toward the end of working on it. This is where it all was coming together. I changed the headlights since these pics back to the original sealed beam type. My girl liked the ones in these pics but I hated them. Most people don't like spoilers on a notch so I completely understand not wanting it there. But I was trying to do an accurate Mach 1 recreation. The spoiler is from a 69 Mach 1, the chin spoiler is from a 72 mach 1. And the louvers are a nice Mach oriented piece too. Plus they were very hard to find for a coupe. The seats have Mach style upholstery, and it has a Cobra IRS. That would be the only non-Mach part of it, but I just wanted the extra trick factor. Thank you all for the kind comments, and I am sorry about thread jacking, but Like I said , I love Mach's and Fox's. Those really are 2 great cars you got there !!!

No problem at all & thanks again for the compliments. Even though some of the styling cues aren't my personal taste, I most definitely can appreciate the originality & the hard work that went into that car. I like the hood alot... Is it a stock mach motor, or is it a built bottom end?

It took about 2 years to complete this. I didn't want to cut any corners. Anything that needed to be done to make it work properly, I took the time and fabricated the correct component. Yes that's pretty accurate on the cost to build, a little less. The car is actually a 1979. The hood is from an 86 and the center section is from the 04 Mach 1 I used, and then cut them both and grafted them together. The motor is entirely stock, Just full exhaust, (long tubes, o/r x-pipe etc etc...) and the Procharger with all the needed additions for the Procharger. You guys know what they are. It drives PERFECT. Nice and smooth cruising with lot's of power when you want it. Dyno'd 462 hp and 433 tq at the wheels. Running a little rich though, but I would rather have it that way. Gonna do a couple more things and some more tuning, but I want to keep it safe at no more than 475 though. Until I can get a better bottom end that is.

Also, EVERYTHING WORKS. Air Bags, A/C, ABS System, Defrost vents, power everything, etc etc......

If there are ever any questions on anything to do with a swap like this, feel free to PM me. I can help with any problem that may arise. I Know quite a bit about these conversions.
