I just noticed the word "Mustang" does not appear anywhere on my GT except on the doorjambs.

It is nowhere on the exterior. All of the aluminum rims have a blue oval, and the rear "gas cap" says GT and Ford, but the word "Mustang" is missing.

I kind of like it that way. It does not need to advertise. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is ever going to ask me what kind of car this is.

What about the cursive script where the passenger side airbag is?

I'm pretty sure that my brother's 91 LX doesnt' have the word mustang on it anywhere at all.

Why advertise if everyone knows what it is?

LX's have "MUSTANG" on the rear bumper like the 94-04's. GT's had them on the side skirts and they said "MUSTANG GT". This is the first time in a long time that Ford hasnt written mustang on the car.

Im pretty sure fox LX's have the word mustang written in small letters in the front where the license plate would go, and possibly in the back too

No Blue Ovals either, which is kind of nice. Everyone knows what it is without a name on it, which says everything.

J Mays said that if the design is right everyone will instantly know what car it is so there is no need for name badges on it.

In case you couldn't tell, these cars don't exactly NEED to have a label on them.

Everybody knows what they are already.
