first, what is this box that connects to the IAC? cani just connect a hose from the iac straight to the CAI and be fine?

also, im moving my battery to the trunk so i was wondering is it possible to move my power steering reservoir over in place of where the battery was and whats it involved if so?

That box is a muffler. Do not relocate your battery.

As mentioned before, that box is an IAC muffler to get rid of a small amount of noise. It doesn't change the way it runs at all to ditch it. As for a battery relocate, I've seen some turbo kits for the 2v that move the reservoir over to the fender where the battery sat.

I've also seen them mounted near the master cylinder before, but don't have anything technical to offer, since I've never made the move myself. I can't imagine it would be much harder than drilling a few holes and buying a few pieces of high pressure hose.

I relocated my battery to my trunk and happy I did so. I will put in place underhood my oil filter relocation kit.
Plus, I run a big stereo so its less wiring in the car to run, plus the slight advantage at the race track.
Nevermind the fact that it looks darn cool with the steeda box.

If you wanna relocate your battery, do it and do it right, its a good mod.

im goingt o be using the taylor battery relocation kit...comes with everything i need....do i need the shut off switch?

i want to kinda of clean up the engine bay a little bit i want to move the PS reservoir over because i think it would look way better up against the fender than it does just hanging off the front of the engine like it does...if it's a really involved process i might just leave it...i was just wondering what kinda crap was involved in moving it...
