A3M computer question...

Ok. My '93 LX 5spd. has the A3M computer. I have a A9P computer from my old Stang that I just found in my BOX-O-GOODIES in the attic. I know the A9P will work but, the question is what or why was the A3M computer shunned so bad? I'm gonna sell it to a buddy so he can do a mass air conversion and we would just like to know what's up with it.

I've only heard about the A3m being a better computer than the earlier A9x series.

keep it and get rid of the A9P
