Okay this is a two part question. I am still doing research for my turbo build and I have read many articles on blocks and all the good stuff that goes in them. 1st, what is the difference between an A4 block and a R302?

2nd, what other blocks have you used or heard about (DART) that will hold the power levels of a t76-88mm turbo? I was going to be satified with 5oo-600 rwhp, but you know what? I'm never satisfied!! So now I want to prep the block and internals for 800-900 rwhp. Let the fun begin!

Hey guys, you know when your done using the john and to be polite you should use an order eliminator like febreze summer and splash air refresher etc.? Does anyone know if they make an odor eliminator that smells like race fuel? Or is that just wierd?

If I remember right the A4 is no longer being made. So, you'd have to find a used one.

B50 block (Mexican block) is a 2 bolt mains that has some extra metal around the main cap area to beef it up. Stronger than the stock block but just barely. No longer being casted. Once FRPP sells the last one that's it.

R302 is a 4 bolt mains block and stronger than B50. But, R302 needs some machine work. Something to do with water/coolant system. No longer being casted. Once FRPP sells the last one that's it.

Available in April 2007 FRPP's new BOSS302. 4bolt mains that needs no work like the R302. Stronger than R302. Should be just as strong as DART blocks with much lower retail. They are saying $1750 for a bare block ready to assemble.

As for the additive to make your exhaust smell like you are running alcohol. All I can say is I've heard of it at the track (Firebird in Emment, ID). Never looked into any further than that.
