I'm tellin you man, tokico HP kit. Lowered the car a tad so it looks good, handles better, and rides like stock. Here is the place I ordered it from. I also got this kit for my gf's eclipse and it was nice as well. Way cheaper than bilsteins and you get new springs too. Install was simple.

Here is a comparison pic, stock on top.

I was thinking about the bullit or tokico kits too. But then I thought...why buy better? Why not buy the best.

I would do some searching on the old threads about the bullitt suspension package. I seem to remember reading bad things a few months back... I have never installed the kit, but I have owned a bullitt (Last mustang I owned prior to this one) and I think you can do a lot better for less $$$. I dont remember being that impressed with how it handled, but what I do remember is that any bump felt like a pothole, and when I did hit a pothole the car felt like it was going to snap. To me it just felt like there wasnt any suspension travel at all.

Maybe that is how its supposed to be, and thats the way all cars with suspension modifications feel... I just know that when the time comes and I do my suspension mods I wont be going that route.

I cut half a coil off the front of my springs for a killer raked look since the front still looked a tad higher than the rear after the install. I might go with a new rear sway bar or something for even less body roll soon, but this kit handles MUCH better than stock. Took a 70 degree turn at like 40 mph the other day on accident and car went around it like nothin.

I'm getting a set of Bilstein HDs.

They are highly recommended by Maximum Motorsports.

I guess it depends on what you want to accomplish. For me, it's good reliable handling...not so much about lowering.

You don't have to cut the springs, that picture I posted was my car the day I lowered it. I'm sure it settled some since then. I just wanted the car a little lower than it was after I dropped it so I cut em. I'll probably end up getting H&R SS springs one of these days when I can afford it.

Seriously though, if you want about 1"-1.5" drop and good handling, I'd still recommend the HP kit.

I'd find a buyer for the stock wheels and use the 500 for used tires and a set of new wheels.
