the only way the swap makes sense is if you can find the parts used. When I price all new parts it was almost $1500 I think.

the price of the bullit intake intstall kit for all new parts is more than the p-51 intake.

the p-51 outpreforms the bullitt from stock to modified.

As for emission problems I am not sure if the p-51 would have the same issues or not. I don't quite understand the whole emissions problem with the bullitt though. What equipment is different?

I looked into getting a Bullitt intake for mine, but an extra 10-15 HP for $1,500 is just not gonna happen!

dont look at just the peak numbers- it increases levels across the board- also it is a stonger piece.

how do you guys even figure you get 10-15 rwhp out of it? when a actual bullitt is put on the dyno, does it make that much power over a regular gt? the dyno's that i see for stock bullitts seem to only be a slight bit higher then the gt.

You're on dope if you think it's worth $1,500 for what little gains you get out of it. The P-51 is less than it costs for a Bullittt swap. Makes more power from the get go. And it is capiable of WAAAAAAAAAAAY more. I'd go with a dry shot of NOS for a 1/3 less $ and 10X more hp than just doing the Bullitt swap.

Who the hell ever said anything about RWHP. That's 10-15 at the crank.

i dont even think its worth 15 at the crank. but who cares i want to go with the p-51 myself. it does produce better power i just have to get it to work with the set up im going for.

hey a bit off topic: does anyone what the p-51 is made out of? i know the bullitt is a very heavy intake with small gains that prob. will even things out in the speed department. how about the p-51, it looks like it would be lighter but i could be wrong. does anyone have a weight on this piece? thanks

i never said that the p-51 wasny better, but he asked about the bullitt. To me the p-51 looks like it would weigh a ton.
