I am going to definatley pull my 5sp and either go with PA supercomp automatic with stall and transbrake or 4r70w with the same features this spring..I am just not sure about what is needed for this conversion. Does anyone make a complete conversion kit or do I just need to order all seperate components,,How do you get around the fact that 5sp is electronic and auto is not??

Dude I was going to say I want to get rid of my automatic if you lived in florida or something I would take our cars into a shop and tell them to literally swap our trannies out car side by side and while the tranny was out you could put in a 3200 stall. Thats the easy way, there are several online sites that do offer what you are looking for they are very expensive though my way is cheaper if you have someone nearby willing.

Why have you decided to swap a manual for auto? It just seems to me that it will be a huge job, and not to mention a serious amount of $$$. I dont have any information on your original question, but email me if you want to sell your 5 speed...

I'm running around 455rwhp until next fall then, new motor and hopefully around 60 rwhp..My 5sp needs to come out anyways, automatic is more consistant,,and faster with that much power to the wheels.

I swapped my stock 4R70W for a PA SuperComp 4R70W, but it is expensive. But if you want to have an OD tranny, it is a good way to do it.
