? about Pi swap

i got a 96 GT that im wantin to put Pi heads on and im wonderin what all i need and if the timing chain,timing change cover,timing chain runners(plastic things)vavle covers and all the other good stuff would work

if you do a search you can find a lot of threads pertaing to this topic, but you will need, the heads, intake manifold, a large bit to tap the hole for the water temp sensor, head gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, plus some other small stuff. I went ahead and replaced my timing chain set while it was apart for $350 from Orilleys, better safe then sorry.

new explorer PI engines are going for 1995 now that about what it will cost you to buy the PI headswap kit 1399 plus upgradeing your old timing euipment etc...why not just drop a new motor in with an aluminum block. If these were available when i did mine this is the route i would have chose...
