ABS Came on

I think my ABS light came on b/c of my new drag radials... but i am not sure. i think i read some where if u put big tires on, it will mess with your sensors... i have the stock 16" ponies w/ 28x11.5. i know i should have gone smaller lol. all well.
I also did a fuel pressure regulator install, but i dont think that would have any bearing on the ABS.

check the abs cable on the rear. theres one on each side. the tire might have rubbed through the wire. this happened to me after i got my gears put in because the mechanic didn't put the wire back on the bracket. if this is the problem its a very easy fix and will cost you about 50 bucks per side.

Edit: also if that is the problem all you have to do is take out the back seat cusion to plug and run the wires.

The problem with bigger tires is that the PCM senses that the rear tires are spinning slower (bigger tires) than the fronts (smaller tires). It thinks the brakes are somewhat locked up, that's why the light comes on.

I noticed today when i was driving my car again, the 1st couple of times i push on the break when i am driving, i can feel a little vibration in it. Almost like the brake is shaking or moving in and out. I dont know if that changes anything.
