Ok so I took my car to my mech. today (Robert Hindman aka Mod motor champ) to get the codes pulled so I can get my ABS light to go off, he said he hooked the scanner up to the car and it wouldn't do anything he said it reads fine, and he doesn't know why the light is on he also checked my ABS sensors to make sure they are good which they were, so we are both stumped and suggestions or anyone else have the same problem..

I still bet one of the sensors is bad or a wire came loose. The rear sensors connect to a harness under the rear seat. Just pull the seat up and see if the connections are good. If I find the link on how to test them I'll post it. I have it at home somewhere...

I put bigger rear tires on my car once and almost instantly I got an ABS light. Keep in mind I went from 26 inch tall tires to 28 inch tall BFG Drag Radials...You say you have 275/40's....They are still just about as tall as the 245/45's...I dunno...Just a thought.

When I had an ABS light I didn't pull any codes either. I then took it to an ABS/Brake specialist shop and they told me an ABS code wouldn't show on a normal reader. Long story short, I had a bad sensor and bad connections into the ECU. They replaced the bad sensor and cleaned up the connections with some electrical grease.

Good luck!

I think all told, it was around $300. About $85 of that was the initial diagnostic. It could have been much worse in my case since they had trouble locating the problem of the ECU connection. They didn't charge me for a lot of the time they put in.

Best to pay for the diagnostic to see if they can find the specific problem.
