My abs light keeps turning on and off. It'll stay on for a minute or so and then come off. It will come back a few minutes later then lasts for about the same time then it turns off again.
I have no idea what it is.
The fluid reservoir is at the proper level and the brakes work fine.
I was wondering if there's a common problem with Mustang ABS systems.
Could it be a sensor?
A short?
Is there a quick fix?

Any help will be appreciated.
My car: 2001 GT 5-speed

night Paula. take it to the pressure wash and clean the wheels/brakes really well to get the brake dust off the sensor as well. just take it easy going home on the brakes.

ya take it to Autozone. the lights doesnt have to be on to pull the code. just tell them to look up an ABS code instead of a powertrain code. its really easy to do.
