Abs tone Ring replacment

Do you need a press to get the new Abs ring on, I really need to replace this im missing a few teeth on the ring here is a picture. And what is the best way to get it off.

I did it with a chunk of aluminum pipe and a hammer but a press would have been easier. I just don't have a press so I had to improvise.

to get it off I just craddled the ring with a bearing splitter then put that on a couple blocks of wood and dove it off with a hammer. you just need to support the ring itself with something that it not going to give to much and then drive the axle from the ring. this was fairly easy.
