I have solved my own problem, before I was going to post it on here.

Tonight I was out driving and the ABS and the Traction control light were on steady. I stopped quick and sure enough came to a screcching halt. I unplugged the battery cable to reset the computer, but the lights still remained on afterI reconnected it.
I was then thinking what could have happened and remebered that earlier today I installed some LED light pods in my back seats, Ihad removed the lower seat cushion in order to run the wiring. I also found a huge amount of debris, leaves, coins and lots of other crap collected under there. While vacuuming out the space under the seat, I disconnected some wires and forgot to replug them in.

I just went out, removed the seat, found the unplugged wires and reconnected them. The ABS/Traction lights are now off and working fine.
These wires were connected to the ABS sensors under the car.

I hope this helps anyone who has this problem.

Also... if you own a convertible, you should see what crap has collected under your rear seat. It is easy to remove...if you know how. Thats another posting.

Dude you are so right. I have a vert and when I took out the rear seat, wow!

Also, could the weenies at Ford spend two seconds to throw that crappy sound deadening blanket in straight? Guess not...

Man, this forum is so freakin' helpful. Once I had installed my new stereo the ABS and traction control lights came on and stayed on. I took out the back seat last night and saw that one of the in-line connectors was not connected all the way. Thank you, stangboy! :nice:
