I've noticed lately that after driving my car that the condensation from the AC drips directly onto the downpipe of my O/R H, creating a pretty loud sizzling sound. This happens just about EVERY time I drive it.

Anyone else with an O/R pipe experience this? Is this normal?

Its getting annoying

A/C is for wimps and nerds.

But seriously, mine drips all the time. I just walk away and pretend I don't hear it.

When the a/c compresses hot air into cold air, the byproduct is moisture, theres a drain somewhere from the evaporator, other words its normal.

LOL Im well aware of the "process", its just that it's never dripped directly onto the exhaust before. Its loud as hell.

Damn its annoying as hell. I get the "WTF is wrong with that dudes car" looks from people

Or maybe its because I use the AC on full blast all the time. Damn Texas heat is bad this summer.....

I noticed the same thing when I installed my MRT H-pipe. Seems more pronounced now. Could be the larger diameter pipe is catching the condensation as opposed to the stock pipe. Pearl02.
