harbor freight sells a tool that sucks the system dry of moisture and and puts suction on the lines.

here is the link to it.

HARBOR FREIGHT

i believe that you can use the same tool to fill it but not positive. i haven't bought mine yet because i am poor.

should make this job a little easier.

Good pump. I can vouched for it because I purchased one last year when I lost all of my freon, via leaky high and low pressure port fittings. You will need an air compressor with certain specs to use with the pump so read up on that pump or call them prior to purchase. It's worth it's weight in gold. Here is a thread I started that has some good info in it.

I was just going to say you need to bypass your LPS and HPS to see if they are the culprits. You can buy a gauge at autozone to test the low side pressure if you think you may be low on charge and add some if necessary.
