AC/Heater control stuck on defrost

Hi everyone

My AC/Heater control is stuck on the defrost function and it not cooling the car down enough here in Dallas. The AC, Fan, heat all work but the gate/door that moves the air around (Defrost, floor, mix, front, etc.) is not working....is there a way of taking off the control and testing the connections to verify that its the control that needs to be replaced? I have everything out right now....
