I am looking for any info on mounting the AC compressor in the smog pump location. Due to the fact that my car has a supercharger in the spot for the ac. I am aware that i will probably need to have lines made. The car had the ac deleted when i got it so i will probably be using a sanden pump so i can run r134a

Thanks.

Which supercharger kit are you running?

To answer your question, there aren't any off the shelf brackets to relocate it there. Most kits keep the ac so that's why it might be easier to see it that particular kit has alternate brackets that allow for the Ac to be used in original spot

I kinda made it myself

Get out our measuring tape and measure the compressor. Then measure the amount of space that the smog pump uses. Take the old bracket for the AC and look at the mounting points for the compressor.

Then make a mock up a mount out of 1/4" plywood and figure out what you have to trim, bend, bolt and weld to make it fit. Once you have mock up for a pattern, the rest is cut, drill bend and weld the 1/4" steel plate to make the actual mount..

Thanks J that was the plan, I was hoping for an off the shelf solution but oh well. I will never give up I always find a way to make it work. the tricky part will be adding the turbo after the AC.... yup AC SC and a turbo... just cuz
