AC questions for a 95 GT

My 95's AC was running great, then one day it just quit, started blowing warm. There is a good charge, and the compressor is still good. When I checked the switch at the firewall, there is no current running to it. Also, I checked the switch on the compressor clutch itself, and got no current to it either. All of my fuses are good, so now I am stuck...I really dont want to take it to a garage because I really dont want to pay what they want. Any ideas as to where I am losing the connection? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!

i know the signal goes through the ccrm. thats the box over the radiator resevior. if you have a wiring diagram and a multi meter you should be able to trace it down

Check the low pressure sensor on the accumulator. If you know for certain the charge is sufficient, unplug the harness from the sensor and jumper the terminals. If it works, grab a new one from the auto parts store of your choice. It's a pretty common problem on our cars.

Were you being literal? If you have no power to the LPCS (the power signal comes from the HVAC controls), then trace the issue backwards from the LPCS.

Otherwise, I'd put a set of manifold gauges on and quickly do as Matt suggested. Don't run the car long at all with the LPCS jumped.

The power path is from the HVAC controls, to the LPCS, to the CCRM (Common and NC terminals) and then to the clutch. So obviously if you have no power in or out of the LPCS, there will be none at the CCRM (WOT relay) or the clutch.

I'm having a similar issue with my 94. The AC system has the correct charge, and I'm trying to locate the fuse for it. Is it in the fuse box under the dash r somewhere else?? Iv'e tryed looking for it but havent been successfull. Sorry about highjacking your thread btw.

Fuse 6 inside the car is for the HVAC controls IIRC.

If you have power going to the LPCS, your controls and fuse are fine. You'd need to diagnose it from the LPCS down to the compressor.

Pressure switch could be bad.
I replaced mine couple of years ago.
It will show those type of symptoms.
