accel Ugroove plugs

are these any good. the auto part stores sell them but they come in a box of 8, i don't think they will sell them single, will they. the reason i ask is because i was given a set of 66 289 heads and they came with 3 accel plugs that have not been fired yet. so i want to get the 5 remaining plugs. anybody know

I don't know who actually make's the plug's for Accel (Maybe NGK), but to keep it simple, there is nothing special about them. They are based off of NGK's V Groove plug which is crap and most of all don't belong in a Ford. If you want good plug's for your Ford stick with Motorcraft or Autolite (Autolite Manufacture's The Plug's For Motorcraft).

Just get some autolites or motocraft and call it a day. I don't buy into all of the multi prong spark plug stuff. Electricity takes the path of least resistance so I bet only one of those prongs is gonna carry the spark despite what it shows on the commercial.

it is only a one prong plug but that is what i always tell everybody about those platinum + 2 and 4's they don't listen.
