i gotta say i'm hesitant about putting a new( different) hood on my bullitt, but to be honest i'm just bored with it, plus the damn scoop drips water 4evah!, i was thinking cobra r at first, but then i say the profile of a car with one and didnt care for how much the fins stuck up, maybe it was just the brand of hood, i dunno, but now im thinking mach 1, im open to suggestions fellas, pics would help.

'03-'04 Cobra....they're nice and are reverse ram, so they won't suck up leaves and crap. Just vent hot air from the engine bay.

Cause at work, I have to use Stangnet.net and not Stangnet.com. There's apparentlly a bit of a delay. How about a nice Cervini Cobra R hood....
Part number 153

Different that the run of the mill '99-'04 hood, yet smooth and stylish and remenicent of the old '95 Cobra R. Not to mention allows room for an intake or a blower later on.

I like the Steeda or the Cervini hood personally. I have a Bullitt as well and have considered the Steeda hood without the louvers.

I do not think this hood looks great on the black cars. I tend to like them on the lighter colored cars (White, Silver, Yellow, Red, etc).

I have been wanting a CF cowl hood for my black bullitt. If I get a hood it will be CF so I could shed a few pounds in the process.

I saw a black mustang with a black CF hood with just clear coat over the carbon fiber, and I thought it looked good.

Some think they are too ricey, but you could always paint them.

The manager here at Mustang Extreme in San Antonio is rocking a Cervinis hood on his true blue Bullitt. It does look like the 95R hood, but for 99+. IMO, I think it looks great. The 03/04 Cobra extractor hood is also a good suggestion also. It all comes down to personal preference, and of course budget.

I'd go with the 03-04 Cobra style or the Steeda/Cervini Hood. The money you'll spend for the Mach setup is not worth it imo, and doesn't look as agressive.

There is a place that makes a copy of the Saleen hood like the one above your post. I think they may have a cowl hood too, but I don't have the link here at work. I'll check my bookmarks when I go home later and let you know.
