anybody have more pics of someone with a cervini's cobra r hood? im really not extremely concerned with the all out aggressiveness of the new hood, just that it matches the "theme" of the bullitt body style, but lets face it, im not gonna spend a grand for nearly stock looks.

That gets pretty expensive to do that because you would have to buy the front bumper and all the other bits and pieces (fogs, etc.) to do it. You can use a '03 bumper with a GT hood, but not a '03/'04 Cobra hood with a GT bumper unless you want an unsightly gap.

i love the look of the 03-04 cobras but i just dont really wanna buy a whole new front end, especially since a hood is what i really want most.

I will have my 03 Cobra hood put on next Wednesday or Thursday. I will let you all know how the gap turns out since I won't have a Cobra bumper till later (if needed). I can get some pix online if someone wants to help me post them...just lemme know

To use a '03/'04 Cobra hood on a GT,all you need to do is drill two new holes behind the factory holes were the GT's facia mounts on the headlight/bumper cover bezel(the fiberglass support),right at the top.You can't miss them. The top off the facia is held in place with two plastic type push in plugs that look like screws.Bring them closer to the rad support to line up with the Cobra hood.
I've seen this done, and looks sweet.Just take your time, and don't rush it.You would only have one shot, unless you refiberglass the holes over .All depends on how picky you are with your car, that itself shows the workmanship in detail.
I've also seen the '03/'04 Cobra facia on a GT with stock GT hood, lined up perfect, but that is another story .

is it just me or does the pic of the hood that supposedly "fits" the gt bumper look an awful lot like the hood above it for reg. cobra bumpers? im sorry but i need to see how well it actually fits before i buy something, im not just gonna take an add's word for it.

Actually if you look at both of the bumper covers, they are both GT's/V6's.Both fronts have the honeycomb grille !!

you do see the big azz gap on them too, right? or am i just crazy, it looks like they put the hood for cobra front ends on a car, then just used the pic for both.

I did the CDC shaker, I think it looks better than the Mach hood... but if you're going to paint the hood all the same color the MAch would probly look best, got pics in the sig

I think the CDC kit and the mach 1 shaker are about the same size. Both setups will cost about the same. (depending on if you can find a mach 1 hood/shaker for a decent price)
